( out of his periphery, he caught matt's movements, leaping and jumping, flipping about like some kinda trapeze artist and making it looks so natural the soldier couldn't help but feel a little envious even as his heart beat that little bit harder witnessing it.
it was distracting, and the gap was quickly closing. as a final attempt to charge ahead, he bolts forward to throw himself across to matt's rooftop once he's near enough to try. rather than land smoothly again on his feet, bucky instead ends up in a roll to keep himself from slamming into the concrete top of matt's roof. a shame, really, that matt would likely catch him now when he was so close to his own goal.
