Jessica had a lot of trauma. She was trying hard not to let it define her. Oh sure, she drank way more than she should have. But after all she'd been through, it could be a lot worse. Kilgrave had been particularly nasty and sometimes his voice was still in her head. Drinking could drown him out, at least temporarily. And then more recently...what had happened with Trish. Jessica had many causes to drink.
