Matt/Jess.
But one night off from her self-loathing wasn't going to kill her, she supposed. Though she knew he knew she was already there, she knocked anyway. It was the polite thing to do or something.
"I'm here, Murdock."

She came in and that smell took over his apartment, making Matt adjust a little where he sat on the couch. Still in his work trousers and button up shirt, tie loosened and glasses still on, he did his very best to look as comfortable as he wanted her to think he was. "So's your package, Jones."

And yet, here she was. After the heavy flirting, she had to admit she felt a bit awkward about this. She wasn't sure why. She wasn't normally awkward when it came to this stuff. "I believe you also promised me whiskey." She said, before moving to join him on the couch.

[OOC: So sorry for the delay on this, I'm training my replacement at work and I haven't had the brain for scene tags]

He smiled and propped his head up on his hand, arm against the back of the couch as he turned to her. "Need a place to sleep?"
[ooc: No worries at all. Take your time and play when you want to, not because you feel obligated. :)]

"Not sure we'll be doing much sleeping though." She added with a devilish smirk that was evident in her voice. A place to crash was nice, but far from the only reason she'd over. And it hadn't even been only for the whiskey either. And this...was good whiskey, she usually got the cheap kind. It didn't matter much to her. But this was probably top shelf. How sweet.

He tipped his chin up, smiling at her as she straddled him. "I do try to keep my promises, Ms. Jones. Which one would you like me to keep first?"
no subject
"Shut up and kiss me, Murdock." She said with a smirk as she looked down at him.

"Don't do it on my account. I just don't want you to bend it in half. Then I wouldn't be any use to you at all."
no subject
"Oh don't you worry, I have no plans to do that," Jessica said. "But should we maybe move this to your room, Murdock?"

Did he sound upset? No.

"And I believe you made me a promise," She said with a wicked grin.
