With her, he kind of preferred it. There was shaky ground there and the last thing he wanted was to cross a boundary with her. He'd read her file, of course, and he knew about Kilgrave, but it was the tone she carried when she spoke about him, hollow sometimes and spitting acid another that let him know how deep that damage went. And then there was Hope. So for her, he preferred her to make the first move, if only so he knew entirely that when he slid his hands to her ass to grab her and pull her closer, it was wanted. Welcomed.

He tipped his chin up, smiling at her as she straddled him. "I do try to keep my promises, Ms. Jones. Which one would you like me to keep first?"

Jessica had a lot of trauma. She was trying hard not to let it define her. Oh sure, she drank way more than she should have. But after all she'd been through, it could be a lot worse. Kilgrave had been particularly nasty and sometimes his voice was still in her head. Drinking could drown him out, at least temporarily. And then more recently...what had happened with Trish. Jessica had many causes to drink.

"Shut up and kiss me, Murdock." She said with a smirk as she looked down at him.

"Yes, ma'am." Said with a smile as his hands tightened their grip on her, as he pulled her in even as he lifted his head up a bit to close the distance between them. The first touch was soft, questioning, but the second was firmer. Hungrier. More sure of itself as he let his tongue come out to taste her. She tasted of alcohol, sharp and warm, and he licked into her mouth for more of it.

He sure was a good kisser, Jess had to give him that. And she'd be lying to herself if she said she hadn't thought about kissing him before. She got up and took his hand, so they could go to the bedroom. She didn't bother picking up her shirt or bra. She didn't care if her clothes ended up scattered around his apartment at this point. "Lead the way, Cowboy."

He rose when she did, erection tenting his pants as he followed after her half-naked self. Her body read hotter to him, and he used his free hand to start undoing his shirt, fingers nimbly moving over the buttons to slide them free until they passed the threshold of his room. Then he tugged her over to his bed, moving to sit on it and pulling her in close so he could kiss at her stomach, his hands then moving to start undoing her jeans. "Bossy."

Did he sound upset? No.

"You like me bossy and we both know it, Murdock," Jessica said, biting a little on her lower lip. She wasn't nervous about almost being naked with him, but it was strange to show her vulnerabilities, even when she was comfortable with someone. And she was pretty comfortable with him right now.

"And I believe you made me a promise," She said with a wicked grin.

"Yes, I do." He was perfectly fine with admitting that, his hands getting her jeans undone and open, then tugging them down a bit as he kissed a little lower.

The comment with the accompanying grin he could hear had his head tipping up a bit, the smile still there. "Did I? Did it involve making you scream my name?"

"Something about that, yeah," Jessica said, still grinning. He had been pretty bold in what he said to her. She was actually a little impressed with it all. And the way he was kissing on her, that definitely felt good. This was going to be one interesting night.

Jeans tugged partway down, he used his grip on them to turn her, pulling her onto the bed as he slid down to the floor, using his lowered position to get her pants all the way off. "Guess I'd better get on that. Wouldn't want to make a liar of myself."

"No, you wouldn't want that at all," Jessica said, practically purring at the thought of what was just about to happen. Matt was a man of his word and while she hadn't imagined when they'd started talking that their night would end up like this, she definitely wasn't sorry.

He moved in and kissed between her thighs over her underwear, nuzzling in against her and using his jaw to press at the parts that he hoped would make her twitch a little. He hummed, already losing himself in the fact that he was going to be in a very compromising position with a very interesting woman who had been quietly driving him crazy for a while. "I love the way you smell," he murmured, biting at the top of her panties and moving to tug them down.

He was driving her wild already. And he probably knew it. The way her body was responding to him was a reminder of how long it had actually been for Jess. Or at least how long it had been since she was sober enough to really enjoy it. "I bet you say that to all the girls." She teased him.

"Only the ones that I like," he winked at her, pulling her underwear all the way off and kissing his way back up along the inside of her thigh. He switched thighs partway up, using the scruff of his stubble along his chin to add a little to the sensation. Matt Murdock knew about tactile pleasures.

"Well, it's nice to be liked," Jess commented wryly. She was very interested in seeing how this would go. Matt was an excellent fighter and he had some skills. She was curious to see how that would translate into the bedroom. So far he was not disappointing her with his teasing. He had made her a promise after all, and she was pretty sure he would fulfill it dutifully. And she was pretty sure it was obvious to Matt the way her body was responding.

"I like your sense of humor." Dark, dry, witty. He often found himself laughing quietly at something snarky she'd said while everyone else around them was giving her the side eye. She could see those looks, but it didn't deter her from continuing to say whatever she felt like. He respected that.

Sliding his hand down her leg, he moved to hook it over his shoulder, pulling her closer to the edge of the bed as he leaned in to kiss against her sex. A light kiss first, soft, almost as if it was a real kiss. Then a drag of the point of his tongue through her folds, parting them so he could lick more firmly and get a true taste of her.

Jess did have a hell of a sense of humor. Matt was not wrong about that. Few people appreciated it though. Oh well, their loss. Jess thought she was pretty funny. Or maybe that was because she was drunk most of the time.
