[They're both navigating the ins and outs of dating one another. Alexis feels utterly enamored with him, but she doesn't want to push too hard. He makes her feel a special way, and he's so good to her. She pours them both some wine and offers it to him.]

Do you have an early morning tomorrow?

Foggy has court in the morning and we're not handling any open cases until just after lunch. I was going to see if you wanted to come over and spend the night, but it seems you beat me to it.

[He reached out and found her arm, sliding fingers down along it until he got to her hand holding his glass. He took it with a smile, then reached out to grab her waist, pulling her in closer.]

I'm glad you're not hurt more, Alexis. I'm... upset that you're hurt at all.

Well, now you can sleep at my place! I have a spare toothbrush and everything!

[She giggles as he tugs her closer. Alexis is happy to press herself against him. Her arms wrap around him. She rests her chin on his shoulder. The food smells amazing. Nuzzling against him, she doesn't want him to worry too much over her.]

I'll be back to normal in no time. You should really see the other guy!

Wouldn't be able to.

[He tapped the side of his head, but he grinned at her as she leaned in against him. He set his wine down, the better to use both hands to keep her there, smoothing his hands up and down along her back in a soothing stroke.]

Guess I'll have to give this, ah, vigilante guy a thanks.

Maaaaaatty. You know what I mean.

[She playfully nips at his cheek. She buns with appreciation as he holds her. His embrace is one of her favorite places in the world.]

He's cool. [There's something about him. What is it?] I wonder who does his suit. It's pretty fashionable.

Is it?

[Melvin would love to hear that, and he'd have to give him that little tidbit the next time he went in for a touchup. A little praise went a long way with him, and he certainly deserved it. "My girl thinks you make a sexy suit" would have him laughing.]

I mean, yeah.

[She's trying to be casual about it. She feels a little bad finding another man sexy, but there's just a familiarity about him that calls to her. It's not just the fact that he's got a great jawline and ass. Or that he saved her. It's something else.]

Can I tell you something crazy?

I listen to crazy all day. Shoot.

[If she mentioned anything about an ass, he was going to have to talk to Melvin about doing something regarding that.]

Obviously I've never met Daredevil until tonight, but like--

[She cuts off because she knows it sounds ridiculous. Alexis shakes her head and pulls back slightly to drink her wine.]

There was just something familiar about him. Do you think I like knew him in another life or something?

[This is where the guilt started to sink in. He hated lying to the people he cared about, had hated it when he'd had to hide this part from Foggy. Karen. It didn't feel any better lying to her about it. He tried to pick his words carefully, lessening the lie to omission as opposed to bullshit.]

Possibly. From what I hear... there's not much of him to see, so it isn't all that surprising that what you can see matches up with someone you might know, or knew in passing.

[Her nose scrunches in thoughtful consideration. She tilts her head as she contemplates the enigma that is Daredevil. It's driving her crazy. Like a song she's trying to remember the lyrics too. Her gaze focuses back on her boyfriend.]

Maybe I'll run into him again and ask him.

Of course you will.

[And now he had a new fear unlocked; Alexis running around trying to get in trouble so that she could run into a masked vigilante to ask him if she knew him. Jesus.]

[And maybe that thought crosses her mind for a moment. She's never been a stranger to trouble. She ends up in it without even trying. Things have been tame lately, but honestly, it's just a matter of time.]

I wonder what it's like being a superhero like that.

Probably very tiring. And dangerous. So don't get any ideas of slipping into spandex and going out to fight crime. No matter how good you'd look.

[He lowered his hand and moved to her ass to give it a warning smack.]

[She squeals at the snack and jumps. Alexis' eyes are bright with mischief.]

What about for the bedroom?

It'd be a little lost on me, gorgeous, but if it makes you feel good to wear it, wear whatever you want. I'll enjoy taking it off.

Okay, but like-- no, good point.

It needs to be more texture with you. Maybe I can find something really nice and silky.

Silky is good. Soft is good. Fur is... a guilty pleasure. Same with velvet and velour. Cashmere. Angora.

[He should stop now, but there was a look on his face as he was remembering running his fingers over some very soft, decadent things.]

It's going to get colder. [She studies the look on his face and grins.]

Maybe I'll set up a special treat for you. I'll have a nice spa day. Make sure my skin is all silky soft, and I'll be wrapped up in fur for you. Just fur.

[There was an all over body shudder as he thought about that treat, and his smile grew.]

I'd have to ask what I could do to return the favor.

[That's exactly the reaction she's looking for. Her fingertips trace up and down his chest, feather light.]

What would you like to offer?

Aha...

[He has to reach over and turn off the oven before he lets himself get distracted, which he knows she's angling for.]

Well, what would you like? I'm not, ah, well versed in what grooming techniques are available for men that a woman genuinely prefers.

I like you.

[Her tone is coy and playful. For a moment, her hunger takes a backseat.]

Maybe I can bank it as an IOU.

You could. Or, I could... join you? In a spa day? I'm not sure if that's... I mean, I don't know if it's a women's only thing or if you'd like the company, but if you're going to put in effort for me, seems only fair I return the favor. Besides, maybe it'll be good penance if they have to wax or burn things off.

Really? You wanna come to the spa with me?

[She's excited at the prospect. She hadn't been sure if it's something he's into, but now that she knows, she's already planning. She wiggles with her delight.]

We can do a couple's massage! I'll grab the menu and read out other options to see what you're into.
