[She gives a little shrug. She knows he likes it rough and when she takes control, but she wants to learn more. Alexis wants to learn everything he likes and dislikes.]

[She raises a brow. Now that's an interesting tidbit. And sees the way he fidgets and takes his hand. Taking her time, she presses a kiss to each of his fingertips.]

It never seems very appropriate to share past lovers.

[It wasn't kosher. And sometimes led to comparisons that ended in arguments. Matt wasn't stupid. He learned from the mistakes of others.]

I would be okay with that, yeah.

[His hands slid around her sides, down to her ass, and he grabbed her and pulled her in against him. Matt was currently halfway to aroused and she should be able to pick up on that fact.]

[She gasps softly when she feels him. She shifts in his hold to turn around, so that her back is to his chest. Her ass nestles against his growing erection, and she makes sure to slowly rub against him.]

Do you have toys? Or should I order us some? Beads? A strap? A vibe?

[Any thought of going back and finishing cooking went right out the window when she did that. He laughed, nuzzling against the curve of her neck, biting gently there.]

[His hand moved down to her front, sliding up under her skirt and palming her through her underwear.]

I suppose we can. Though, that doesn't mean I don't just want regular sex with you.

[He moved his hand to turn her around, pulling her in close to face him as he tried to focus on her.]

Who could ever be bored around you? Sex with you is always... amazing. We don't need bells and whistles.

[She lets him turn her around and pull her in close. Her eyes are dropped to his chest where she idly plays with his buttons.]

I know. And I love it too. It's always so good. I'm sorry, I'm being silly.

No, you're not. You're being honest. That's okay.

[He tipped her chin up towards him, thumb tracing along her jaw.]

I like you, Alexis. I like all of you.

[She's not used to being so openly vulnerable. At least not without being made fun of. It makes her a little anxious. Matt doesn't falter. He's steadfast and solid for her. She looks up at him when he gently coaxes her. She gazes up at him and feels like he can really see all of her in his own way.]

I like you too, Matt. I like a lot.

[He smiles and leans in to kiss her gently, very gently, without the urging press of heat behind it, just to show her a little sweet.]

Good. Then we're on the same page.

[There's almost words of something more on her tongue, but she only smiles against him. Alexis relishes the sweetness of his kiss. Her nose affectionately brushes against his.]

Everything feels so easy with you.

I'm lulling you into a false sense of security so you'll feel bad when I have to cancel because of court or a client.

[More of a half joke than anything. The life of a lawyer needed a mate that was willing to be okay with an overworked partner.]

That's okay. I know you'll come home to me eventually, and you'll let me make sure you self-care.

[She'll make sure he takes care of himself. She pulls back and boops his nose with her index finger.]

Speaking of which, when did you last eat?

Mm...

[He pretended to bite after her finger, then head his stomach answer for him.]

Ah, lunch, I think. We got a little swamped later.

Babe. [She giggles at his playful mock bite and goes back to the stove where it all smells so good. She opens her cabinets to get bowls for them.]

Let's get you fed!

Hey, I'm not the one that got jumped. Let's get you fed.

[He turned back to find his wine, taking a small sip of that before he went to go help her get the food ready.]

Jumped is kind of a strong word. It was more like a surprise baby pounce!

[The wine is definitely helping with the ache in her wrist. Soon, her belly will be full, and she can coax Matt Murdock to get naked and crawl into her very expensive thread count. With his help, they get the food plated.]
